Unix Timestamp to Discord
Discord timestamps are Unix time in whole seconds. Type a number, pick the timezone for the preview, and copy a tag. 1618935630 is 20 April 2021, 16:20:30 UTC.

Seconds, milliseconds, and dates before 1970
Discord specifies seconds. The JavaScript time specification defines the epoch and millisecond units used for this converter’s calculations.
- Seconds are the unit inside the tag.
<t:1618935630:f>is the default style for that instant. - If your source value is milliseconds, divide it by 1,000 and round down to the containing whole second. For example, 1618935630000 milliseconds becomes 1618935630 seconds, and -1 millisecond becomes -1 second. Digit count alone does not tell you the unit.
- Negative Unix seconds identify instants before 1 January 1970 UTC: -86400 is 31 December 1969 at 00:00 UTC. Stamp can preview them, but Discord’s public documentation does not define its accepted numeric range.
- Stamp’s preview range is UTC years 0001 through 9999. This is a limit of this tool, not a published Discord limit. Dates after 2038 are supported within that range.

How do I convert a Unix timestamp to Discord?
Put the seconds in <t:seconds:style>. 1618935630 is 20 April 2021 at 16:20:30 UTC, and <t:1618935630:f> is the default style. Stamp fills every style from the Unix seconds field once you choose the timezone the preview should use.
What if my Unix timestamp has 13 digits?
Check the unit in your source. A 13-digit number may be milliseconds or a distant date in seconds. Discord uses seconds. For a millisecond value, divide by 1,000 and round down to the containing second; only use the conversion button if that is the unit you intended.
Relative wording for the same instant is explained on the Discord relative timestamp page. Every letter is listed under syntax.
